Coolant in oil? Potassium is high. But sodium is normal. VOA shows potassium 0, sodium 4:

Coolant level in the tank decreased by 0.5 inch (5 months)
Viscosity 40 - looks like mistake..
Pb not analyzed, mail to laboratory..
Wear metalls seems a little high for this mileage.. Chrome is 2, AL is 4. Coolant is the reason? First time try to use 0w20 oil. Nissan recommends 0w20 in this engine only in Japan. In Evrope and USA (sentra QG18DE) only 5w30 and heavier. Thats why i try it only for winter.
Sorry for my english..

Appreciate you running that - curious about what PC 0W-20 looked like!

Not too bad for lots of short trips and possibly a bit of coolant in the oil, the low viscosity is from fuel dilution.

Do I even WANT to know how you got PC oil over there???

I think oil looks normal. Viscosity 100C is little low, but based on other UOA it drops quickly and then hold up well, 40C - i do not trust this value, too low. Flashpoint 431.6 - like a new oil, i think no fuel dilutions.
There is an official dealer PC in our region, the price is very attractive, quality better than most oils sold here! Big oil companies sell us low cost products at high prices, such as Castrol and its Magnatec, made NOT in Germany..

received information from the laboratory:
Lead=0
ethylene glycol=0

There is coolant in oil or not? potassium =35(VOA=0), sodium=4(VOA=4)
How can this be? Ethylene glycol evaporated from oil?
Coolant level in the tank decreased by 0.5 inch (5 months)

Need help!

It's hard to confirm coolant or not.

What other sources of K are there? Anyone?

I don't actually know myself. Good to see ZERO lead, so I'm guessing fuels there aren't 'terrible'?

Your level in 'which' tank? Overflow or in the radiator itself? I've seen some overflow tanks evaporate out some over time and the level changes regards engine temp as well. For instance, when hot the level in the tank is higher in my vehicle where as when cold it is lower.

To be clear, you are stating 1/2 an inch? I don't think that's anything to worry about at the moment.

Yes, fuel is Evro 3 or 4 standart.
I mean coolant level in Overflow tank, measured in some conditions, before engine start (cold engine). I think its evaporate, but UOA shows potassium. Yes, 1/2 an inch. But before that coolant level seems to be did not change..

^Well, at the very least, you can try to monitor the trend of K over a few OCIs. Check back and see where things trend.
