I’m seeking a manufacturing of paper element, cone design air filters. I currently have a Porsche race car and M3 DE car, each with high flow intake systems (ie: non stock air boxes). After oil analysis, I’m neither satisfied with air filtration of the cotton/gauze or foam. Paper element cone filters with a high replacement frequency is the way I’d like to go, however, I can’t locate a manufacturer of paper, cone filters.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

My dad's 2004 Chevrolet Colorado 3.5L Inline 5-cylinder uses a cone filter inside the filter box. I don't have the part number but I know I put a WIX filter in there as a replacement to the OEM. It's quite a large cone filter though.

I use one made for a 98 GM truck. It has a ~3.5" inlet and it 10" long. If that is too big try one for a 2002 Trailblazer.

Those Amsoil cone filters might be just the trick for our Porsches...I am going to try one. C, I'll e-mail you when I figure out which size to use...
