Hi,

Are there any open source equivalents of the acrobat distiller for either windows or mac???

Thanks!

see, that one Ineed tohave thewhole ghostscript thing.

For real documents, late converted to pdf seems to be the way to go, as you can get all themathematical symbols and whatnot real easy.

For large documents, word doesnt always size up well, and it is often unstable to transfer around, because formatting, etc goes awry.

Adobe PDF distiller (r acrobat professional as thesoftware is called) is quite good...

I prefer MS office over staroffice or openoffice, personally, but given the ability to output PDF, I might have to check it out again, it might be the right solution for me.

Thanks!
