I'm "reviving" the sintered P-tex base of my snowboard with a "base prep" wax containing moly. Yes you heard me, moly. I know moly's great for boundary lubrication and it forms a "plate" when it's in an engine or tranny/rear end. However, what does moly do for a pair of skis or a snowboard?

Protects when sliding the rail..
Also great for rock boarding..
Just guessing anyway. Why not use rotella, pour on, wipe of.
Bet you it´ll work.

Since im a snowborder myself i´ve found one thing that
separate us from skier´s- we get closer to the nature!

Meh, I'll support the hometown oil company with Delo.

I'm tempted to defile my Burton Custom with Pennzoil Platinum/Ultra or M1 HM if it's really dirty at the hill. I've read somewhere that ski techs were using Esso 2-stroke oil instead of ski wax at the 1995 World Cup Championships in Canada.

Yeah, you cant beat the shear stability of an HDEO.
Just remember to choose proper viscosity for the temperature.
Othervise it may get difficult to start...
For really extreme use- go with a GL5 gear oil, beavare of
the fact that chicks doesent like its smell....
