Non Daily driver. How long can GC sit?

Hi Guys,

This is my first post on here and had a question. I have a 02 Camaro SS. I just recently bought some GC. How long can it sit in the car before being changed? The first year I had the car I only put 2500 miles on it. And prob be less this year. I tried the search but it doesnt work well.

after a year send a sample to Terry, and he will tell you if you need to change it and when.

1 year is a good rule, IMHO. If all you do is long drives (up to temp = >20 miles of use all at once), then you can likely extend it more, but Id still want good verification if that was the case... and likely its easier to just do 1 year anyway.

At only ~ 2500 miles/year, I would run a synthetic at least 2 years before draining it.
