New Hyundai turn signals mounted down in rear bumper??

Those look like back up lights to me.

Back up lights are next to the turn signals.

A minor bump, instead of having a scratch on your bumper, you might need expensive new lights. I can’t stand this trend from Hyundai/Kia and others. Same with putting the headlights in the bumper like 2020-22 Soul.

This does irk me, but not as much as GMs that turn on the reverse lights when you shut the car off in park or unlock it from afar. Dumbest thing ever and I live in Chevyland so basically driving down parking lanes makes me skiddish.

Maybe the thread is TL;DR, but we already talked about it. See starting post #6 of this thread.

But the point is, the 2nd gen Chevy Bolt, this does not apply, since the outer corner lights are fixed to the body, but however Chevy chose to put the brake & turn signal in the bumper.

And Chevy copied the Audi Q-series SUV

They've been moving headlights to bumper for a couple of years now, so I guess this is a new trend...
