After reading about how Militec-1 supposedly does not attract dirt/dust, I squirted some on areas of my engine (car) that see a lot of sand/dust. If those areas start to get caked up with sand/dust, I'll know if it attracts it.
Afterwards I'm going to clean off the surface and then apply Break Free CLP.
The specific areas are my hood latch (sees a lot of grit and sand) and the face of the alternator pulley (sits on top of the motor and dust/sand gets sucked into that area by the alternator cooling fan).
