I have one quart of Havoline 5w20 in my stash. I have a new Honda and will stick with Havoline (and LC/FP) for the foreseeable future anyway. My OLM went to 6000 miles before it showed the oil service due notice; I assume that it will be about the same from now on as long as I don't change driving habits. So, when I get to the next 5000 mile mark I will look to buy some new oil for the next change.
The cost of Havoline is usually less than $2 a quart so I'm not going to tie up garage space when a sale comes along. Even if I buy it on sale I am just saving a couple bucks an oil change anyway. Heck, I only change oil less than twice a year as I only put on about 10000 miles per year on my vehcile.
