My first MX bike was a Hodaka 125 Combat Wombat. Gutless but it turned well. Like this.

Next race bike was a Maico AW400, first "long travel" Maico and last of the coffin tanks. I had an up-pipe and of course the 2' long kickstand was tossed.

What a blast from the past.

Here's an oldie from over 10 years ago, a buddy and me fixing up our Elsinore 125, rebuilding the carburetor. We bought it in 2008 for 200 bucks, from a coworker who bought it for her daughter and had issues getting it to run. Started up easily and has been running ever since. Love it even though it is a bit to small for my now 200 lbs.

I was never into dirt bikes, but these old classics look great.

I’m more into road bikes.
Here is my garage “beauty”, definitely not a queen though, hence the garage is a mess.

I wasn't born til 80, so these were before my time. I did have fun riding dirt bikes as a lad, and always wanted one, but got into cars about the time I got into being old enough to earn real money.

Anyway, just wanted to say this thread was a fun read along, all the reminiscing! Felt like I was sitting at the counter at a diner. Lol
