Vehicle is an '09 Dodge Caliber SRT-4, 285hp 2.4L Turbo I-4 w/ 6sp manual, about 92k mi. on the car.

Driving is about 85% highway miles, remainder is stop & go city use, with occasional spirited driving and sprints to redline thrown in for good measure.

Owners manual recommends Synthetic 0w-40 Mobil1 with 3k severe or 6k regular intervals.

Oil used is Motorcraft "Powerstroke" 10w-30 CJ-4 rated oil. I gathered a stash after a local farm/fleet store was closing this out, selling it for around a buck a quart. Oil filter is a Napa Proselect 21372. The oil turned out good UOAs in other applications so I figured it couldn't hurt to try as it's close to a 40 weight. Looks like I got my money's worth.

I'd probably do the very same thing that you did with this car except the oil filter. There is a local service station here that uses the ProSelect filters and I think you could do better, especially with the money you saved on the oil. My $.02 woth.
