My old school LL Bean 20 year old carry-on filled the bill for many trips. My last trip to Antigua I realized it's time for new! I bought a new one a bit big for Euro planes but fits overheads in 737 and above American carriers. If I have to check I'll do it at the gate for no fee and survive. Size 13 shoes I need the extra space. I like to have a few pairs for nightlife.
