2011 Chevy Cruze
1.4L with turbo
Mobil 1 5W-30 (not EP)
9,865 miles on oil sample
14,865 mile in engine
7% left on the OLM
UOA was done at Blackstone Labs
No make up oil added
The mileage put on the car since the last UOA (1/8/12) has consisted of a lot more city driving than usual. There were a lot of very short drives in the winter where the engine only warmed up halfway. It was more like 60-70% city miles. Normally I have to travel for work so this car sees very little city driving and 95% of the miles are 3+ hr drives. The sample was taken using a pump so the oil tested is still in the car.

As for the TAN that I have been adding out of curiosity, well I forgot to request it on this sample so I don't have a number. The OLM is now at 4% (15,176 mi) and every time I start the car it tells me to change the oil soon. I am planning on changing the oil as a 10k OCI already seems crazy. I have some free oil changes from the dealer to use so my next oil will be ACDelco. I have heard this oil does not live up to the OLM readout even though it is dexos1 so I will be doing UOA on it.
