I would strongly NOT recommend a positive (10 degree!!!) hook angle, full kerf blade for a 120V Miter saw, slide or not. It'll lift the workpiece, and it'll suck up power for the needless kerf width.
You'd be alarmed if you saw the +13 full kerf I have on the saw right now. Cuts through yellow pine 2x12s and 4x6s like butter. I don't think I've ever had a negative rake blade. I don't cut metal or super hard material.
So my saw came in for pick up at lowes, but with out the stand, the stand is back ordered with no date, or guarantee that it will. I cancelled it . I only bought the dws 779 as it came with a free stand. I will just order the 780.
Either would be fine. The most important thing is not a specific hook angle or width, but that it be designed specifically for miter saws, and not general purpose/table saws. Well, that and overall quality and suitability.
