Minor Annoyance with YouTube

Videos will not start unless clicking on the reload button at the top of the screen. If I don't click the reload button, the progress icon will spin around in the middle of the screen forever. Throwing this out there in case someone else is having the same issue. Browser is Safari 26.0.1.

I'm on a Mac mini with Tahoe and am having no issues with Youtube on Safari 26.0.1
When I'm watching YouTube videos I use the Brave Browser to avoid ads and not having to SKIP.

Youtube added extra blockers if you have add block. Some videos won't load at all now, or go to the end.

Same here. I watch YouTube more than tv and it gives me the YouTube music included which plays through Apple CarPlay and replaces the Sirius XM subscription so I get more value for the same amount of money.

No problem on the Brave browser. Just saw @AutoMechanic's dream woman Dasha in the country pop music video "Work On Me" without issue.

I've had similar weird behavior with YouTube for the last few months using Firefox under both Windows and Linux. A spinning icon behind the red play button.
