Maine Autozone Stores Dropping GC

I learned yesterday that all the Autozone stores in Maine will no longer be carrying GC once existing stocks are sold. The manager of the Waterville store stated that the regional manager for Maine made the decision based on the fact that GC was a slow mover compared to the other Castrol Syntec. I found this surprising since they are continuing to carry such oddball weights as 5W-50 in the Syntec lineup. Needness to say, I went to three of the Maine AZ's today and purchased their remaining bottles of GC.

when everyone thought it was going away (maybe green-yellow switchover time) I looked at the south portland one and they had a full rack of slightly dusty bottles.

Now you'll have to go to NH for liquor, ciggs, and GC.

Now that I think about it, what a great way to get BITOGers like us to panic and buy out all existing stocks! Maybe I got hoodwinked!
