Not sure if this is the right forum to put it in, but here it is.

I have several rubber suspension bushings on my ATV that look dry & cracked.

What type of grease or lube should I put on them to help them last since I want it to last a long time...

Thanks!

Good question. I get under my car 3 or 4 times a year and try to get some Aerospace 303 on any rubber, plastic or urethane bushings I can get at. I let it seep into the edges and seams and let it soak in. I figure since 303 is so good at maintaining plasics and rubber, it's a lot better to do the preventive maintenace than pay for the parts and labor of replacing them and an alignment.

I'd keep away from the napthenic greases (most greases). Use a group II or synthetic to avoid rubber deterioration.

Think NAPA still has "Rubberlube" liquid to revitalize rubber components. Seems to seal against oxidation, main rubber killer. Put in pump spray bottle. Great for squeaks also.
