Isnt adding an extra trans cooler just disquising a problem?

You're still slipping the clutches and everything if you need an extra cooler to keep temps down correct? So my point is the wear is still occurring regardless whether temps are in check or not. Opinions?

Unless you have evidence of the transmission running excessively hot or you are towing, you are wasting your time with an external cooler.

It's not like you can give a transmission tune ups- there are very limited 'cheap' fixes, it's either going to live or die, so really.... you are delaying the inevitable re/re bill for however miles.
