On a high rise apartment building, I need to silicone caulk a single outside frame edge on one window. The bead would be about 6 ft in length.
I have full access to open the window but am a bit squeamish to put myself, beyond head & shoulders, on the outside and I need just 2 feet "extra" from using a standard caulking gun and the length of my arm. I can do the bottom 4 ft but am struggling to reach safely the top 2 ft section of the window edge on the outside of the frame.
This is a single use, single task and I was hoping to find something I can screw onto the tip of the silicone tube nipple, press the gun a few times and load the material into "an extension".
What am I looking for, does such a thing exist for a "one time task" ?
Was hoping not to hire anyone or spend more than $10 to $15.
