Heat gun carefully or I'm sure I saw someone on YT use hot water .
Man I don't envy you. I did a little tiny vinyl anti scratch piece around a wheel well and it was a pib.
I assume its base / clear underneath? If not - there might be a different way.
A heat gun, but don't get it too hot as that will actually make it worse. Hot water will work also if it can sit on it - not just run off. They make special plastic vinyl removal scrapers, which will get under the vinyl but not scratch the paint. At some point you will get most of the vinyl off and be left with glue - which you can usually get off with goof off or goo gone.

First try a hair dryer THEN go to a heat gun, if needed.
Steamer, but decent likelihood of paint being pulled from a spot or two.

Been prepping the last 10 years. Maybe this year I will.
This inside of one mirror took over an hour. The stuff breaks off into pencil eraser size bits. Unless the hood or sides have weathered differently, this is going to be a miserable job.

After review, what I thought was a reflection of leaves is the clear bra. Yeah go ahead and remove!
As cheap as you can get a hood sprayed from your other posts I’d maybe just grind it all off if it’s that time consuming.

Looks like a royal PIA. Bring it to a body shop and pay the man.

I'll give that a shot but mine is 10 times worse as the one he has.
