How can I seal gouges in alloy wheel clearcoat?

Bought my new alloy wheel rims in October, already have a couple scratches on the polished aluminum spokes. The polished aluminum is covered by some sort of polymer clear coating, but the scratches have breached the clear coat. When salty water gets on the wheels this winter, the possibility for it to migrate under the clear coat is there unless I can seal the scratches.

What should I use for this? Would like something I can dab on or brush on.

Quite durable "clear coat" can be found at good hobbly shops in the model paint department. I think clear can also be found in the little metal "touchup" tubes that paint comes in. I have a nice set of Borbets in 15x7 on my Toyota, Tire Rack has touch up paint for then in the factory silver color, but to make it match exactly I had to clear coat after I covered the scratch.
