Just picked up a 2021 Honda City which comes with a bs6 (sort of like euro 6, has emissions protection) 1.5 NA ivtec engine - the same decades old Honda ivtec but branded “earth dreams” thanks to getting emissions control features.
Weird recommendations in the manual - api sm/sn or acea a5b5 for petrol? Or honda branded 0w16 / 0w20 which are ilsac gf5 as far as I can see? Or Honda green oil which is only meant for hybrids? The diesel recommendation is sane and they could just have used that same acea C2/C3 oil for their petrol engined variants as well.
