It looks like some dealers on ebay ( what seem to be real authetnic dealers at first glance... ) are selling the Japanese filters along with the USA ones we know ( i.e. sold at WM etc ). Is there any benefit to the JDM ones versus the USA ones? Do the JDM filters have the same measly filtration rating as the USA ones?

I doubt the Japanese would get unique filters for the same identical vehicle engines.
As long as they're both genuine and not fakes, why do you state one measly?
