Actually as much as Hitler was found to be disagreeable to many, Germany was prospering during his early years in power.
Look at the USA today, it isn't getting any better here and in many ways the country is spiraling towards third world status.

Really? Spiraling towards third world status?

Really, the only thing that appears to say otherwise is wall street, which is in its own world.

So what we need is a less disagreeable to many, but not to you, Hitler to make us prosper?

Not that I want to agree with the guy but he's right.

Look at the nation as a whole, compared to 30 years ago.
Industry is all offshore now. There is very little skilled work out there anymore.
All this illegal immigration has devastated wages because any labour type work is being done by illegals for cash wages.
In fact the only real employer out there is the government or wal-mart. All tech is manufactured overseas even though a lot of the development is done here.
Third world might be a slight exaggeration however if you look closely it's definitely leading that way.

It's often said that all this country needs is a man like Hitler to make us prosper. Where have you been?

Yemen. I'm completely out of touch.

Benito, are you still following me around? Are you learning something? There are no rastafarians in Yemen. It's more like this:

No I definitely think more of the decades of globalist mentality from all sides that have power is just what we need, for the US to
become a third world country with certainty.

So the NWO is our downfall? And do you have any realistic ideas how to solve our demise?

But lets blame the leader. Why not? Accomplishes nothing.

VW intentionally cheating emission control laws, they will be fined and someone may spend sometimes in jail for it, US Justice Dept opened criminal investigation about this problem. I will not be surprised when they announce some VW employees were indicted.
Not exactly true. The EPA is "empowered" by laws allowing the EPA to make regulations. The same is true of the IRS and other agencies. We see examples of these agencies exceeding their authority and having their chains yanked by the courts from time to time. Louis Lerner comes to mind.

This would be an irony were it only true.
European business is every bit as cutthroat as that in the US.
The long-running feud between Winterkorn and the Piech family for control of VW demonstrates this.
The desire to wring profits wherever possible was a feature of European political economy long before the American Republic was born.
Why do you suppose that Britain, France, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands spent so much money and effort building colonial empires?
I'll give you a clue.
It wasn't to share enlightenment with the heathen.
It was to make money.
Well put and a good response to the America loathers.

import as we speak, from extremely corrupt business practices, to

It honestly makes me sick to my stomach.

This is by far the stupidest post in the entire thread. It sounds much more like Connecticotian, which by definition is very un-"murican." If it were correct logic you would see many of the U.S. auto manufacturers with diesel engines doing the same, the reality is the exact opposite. German culture is regarded as strong and independent. I have an impression of German engineers as being stereotypically arrogant, I expect this is 100% their own doing and not influenced by U.S. capital markets.
+1

German budgets "balanced" back then with piles of gold fillings, ect. A good delusion is a terrible thing to waste.
