Anyone know of a good chemical drawing software for Macs? I'm taking organic and the lab requires mechanisms for every lab report. I have Chem Sketch on the W7 machine but I write the actual report on my MBP and switching around gets annoying. Haven't found something free like Chem Sketch which seems to be Windows only.

Draw them by hand and scan them in

Makes all the arrows and whatnot real easy to show.

Id also recommend putting all your mechanisms on 3x5 cards for easy reference during tests.

I wish it was that easy. They deduct points if the mechanism isn't computer drawn in a dedicated program nonetheless. On my first lab report when I had orgo 1, I took the molecule that I drew in Chem Sketch and pasted into Microsoft Paint to put in a title and captions and the ta thought I copied it from the web.

I'm also a habitual procrastinator so those notecards don't exactly help three days before the exam. Normally I just do the book problems.
