GC Oil consumption increasing

I'm now at 750 miles and still only a 1/2 quart has been consumed. Perhaps I was driving harder the first few hundred miles (I know I redlined it several times in 1 and 2nd). I do recall seeing a 'puff' of smoke when redlining in 1st to get second off the line.

Further, I do overfill by ~ 1/2 quart (out of 6.9 total), so maybe that lends itself to a little extra burning, especially in the twisties, redline, etc.

I have decided to do my changes and UOA's at 3000, or else it will take forever to get through the UOA's with the various additives.

I have a 2005 g35 coupe and have (until the last oil change) been using GC. I haven't seen any sign of even the smallest bit of oil consumption even though this engine is known to consume oil. Because i could no longer find GC in my area, with the last oil change i did switch over to M1 0W-40 (same thing i use in my truck as well).
