Uh Shannow, better check your conversion math there. 4qt. = 3.785 litre. Under "normal" (what a concept for this thread!) circumstances that baby'd be trailing blue smoke big time.
 
acewiza, I was referring to the total amount of additives that are making it through the engine and cat...not the volume of hydrocarbons.

If the hydrocarbons make it into the chamber with the fuel, as opposed to leaking through valve stems, it will smoke less.
 
Sydney....are you out there with any details on how the Daytona is working? Did you ever get the plugs out or the head off? Anything interesting to report?

We saw really good results when Gary had the heads off his 3.0 litre Caravan engine.....be interesting to see if this did the same!
 
Yes, I am very interested as well! I have a '93 Buick Century 3.3 liter V6 that is getting less peppy by the day. It doesn't help that the car is driven about a mile to work, 5 mi/per day at lunch, and a mile home. I'm sure I could benefit from some radical cleaning.
