There is a diagnostic app. available for FCA vehicles that works with an ELM327 device (maybe similar to Fordscan?). The program advertises dealer level connectivity with bidirectional control. I have not used it or confirmed anything.

- Read identification data from all vehicle systems, such as part numbers and software versions, VIN numbers recorded in each module,
- Show Live Data - current parameters available on each of the systems ,
