My favorite is the Purolater Pure one, the ones that I bought have blue colored media.
Whats really cool about this style filter is that you can examine a new one to see how it stacks up visually against others.
I once found some STP branded filters that were marked "made in Bulgaria". These had the most pleats that I have personnaly ever seen on an Ecotec filter for whatever thats worth.
