Ecogard filter? Heard of this?

I bought a case of Ecogard oil filters on eBay for my 1999 Miata. The listing says they're made by WIX, but I can't find any information on the internet about them. Anyone know anything about them?

I highly doubt that they are Wix since IPC is involved. IPC is a distributor who sources mainly off-shore. It's not impossible that they got some Wix stock that needed to be cleared out, but it would be extremely unusual for them.

Well, ecoLAST is a Wix trademark, which isn't quite the same as Ecogard.
