Deep freeze heading to deep South

San Antonio and Bexar County plus surrounding areas basically shut down all non-essential work today. One stretch of highway here was described as resembling a pull-your-own-parts junkyard today.

No oops there, extreme weather like deep freezes(check, check) or strong hurricanes(check, check, check this year) support that research.

Ice down there is no joke. My wife a seasoned New England driver spent time in TX and other parts of south. She said beyond poor road treatment drivers are scary/inexperienced and don't understand the basic covenants of winter driving.

Yeah, and the geological record long before the industrial age supports reality, which does not correlate to your referenced "research". There are so many factors much greater than man's contributions that have been controlling temperatures and weather patterns since the third day (solar activity, airborne volcanic particulates, etc). Nature, conveniently, has a built-in carbon sequestration system that is self-regulating, and works without (and even in spite of) human intervention! Kind of an inconvenient truth, huh?
