Combination wire stripper and crimper

I actually really like the crumpets on this gardnerbender brand tool, although they are a little rough on insulated connectors…. And made in china. Any of the German or USA made brands have similar? I can only find the linesman style that’s similar but not really great for automotive and finer electrical connections.

Are none of you folks using open-barrel f-type crimps?

They are an OEM-type crimp, and I like how one is done on the insul, and one is done on the conductor...

What’s your price range?

These would be my top 2 picks

Here is a closeup of the Channellock 909 crimpers if it helps.

I have those Kleins. I like them most of the time for 10-14 ga work, but I was recently doing some small 18 ga wire with insulated heat shrink terminals and that single-size insulated crimp jaw was not making a tight enough crimp. I had to hit the terminal gently with the non-insulated jaw, being careful not to pierce the insulation.
