CLP

Been using CLP on everything from semis, revolvers, shotguns and rifles. I use it for cleaning and lube. It's never failed me or my guns.
 
They're full of it; I've had a P95 for 13 years and about 3000 rounds now, and have lubricated it predominantly with CLP, along with some old Hoppe's/Castrol Synthetic Gun lube, Rem Oil and Hoppe's Oil from time to time.

That black nylon filled polymer is just about indestructible and doesn't change color at all- the only thing that does anything close is Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber, which degreases it to the point that it looks a little different, but oiling it makes it look normal again.

That is a [censored] answer. Its the cycling of springs that wears them out.
