That is one sweet ride kid! Beautiful groupset; how smooth is it? I'm not a fan of steel frames and prefer carbon and Ti. I had a Ti frame made up for me by Kish. Built it out with Shimano Ultegra groupset.
Thanks for posting. That is a special ride.
but do you stop at intersections?
It's Colubmus SLX and it is indeed a smooth ride, even with 23mm tires. Definitely different than my Lightspeed or Lynskey.

They were the cream of the crop . A huge step up from the Varsity model.I had a Schwinn Continental all through school in the 70's. Not a bike to write home about but there were many of them everywhere and it was a favorite of many. I don't ride anymore but I do have my dad's Raleigh 3spd if I ever want to circle the block.
I believe the LeMond frames were built by Roland Della Santa.Nice bikes. I had a Merckx 7-11 team BITD. Great ride but it was so twitchy I never raced it. My last road bike was a LeMond Maillot Jaune. Nice steel ride with solid handling. Not mine but like this.

You look mega fit. Congratulations. It takes more than DNA, it takes work to maintain good fitness.Only a few were made by Roland. The above posted Lemond is a Trek produced model, they didn't treat Greg very well. I have a LeMond GLX made by Billato in Italy, I haven't got it built up yet. Most steel frame LeMonds that aren't Treks are Billato built, they were imported by a company called Ten Speed Drive Imports in FL.

I'm fortunate to have met and spent some time with Greg on few occasions, a great bike racer and person.

From the post above with the Specialized Allez, great bike! I have an 86 like they used in American Flyers with Kevin Costner as well.
