I went to the AOPA convention this week and of course stopped at the oil company booths. BP is taking a different approach than Exxon in trying to fight the AeroShell near-monopoly in piston engine oils. Instead of pushing multi-grade synthetic blends, they are going head to head with Shell in monograde dino.
