Came off a 2016 CRV. Used from 102K KMs to 114K KMs. Perfect condition. Looks exactly like the Purolators that we all loved back in the day. This filter cross references to Fram 7317.

Refilled with VWB 5w20 and a Motomaster 7317.

I've read that the "blue carquest" oil filters are purolator ones. Would this filter be the same as a p one also?

Appears like the filter & adbv held up great.
Yep, it's a P One for sure.

Agreed, the filter is in great shape and could have likely gone further.

Looks very good. Thank You for c&p

I've been using a very close variant of the topic filter for awhile now, the Bosch Premium 3323. My results have been much the same as topic. I've posted several c&p. Got an excellent deal on 6 from RA, they all arrived in great shape, each individually boxed inside shipping box. Ordered 6 more not long after, so set for awhile. Unfortunately, it seems either M&H or Bosch decided to move production to Mexico recently. The one anecdote I saw looked like crap as compared to the US made. I'm not sure who is making them now. The one difference between topic and PL14610 is sealing gasket, the latter uses and orange PTFE coated sealing gasket. No significant difference imo.

Anyway, the CQ looks excellent. Thanks for c&p.

This isNOT a pureone. Car quest blues are indeed, nice filters! But efficiency, 99%@30 microns. Pure ones are 99%@20-23 microns.big difference.

I see the given CQ efficiency is derived from the current AAP site. CQ OFs have been made by multiple manufacturers, Champ Labs, Wix for awhile and now M&H Purolator. Who knows how current the info regarding efficiency is on the AAP site. Could it be from an original Champ Labs made filter. 99@30um is not an uncommon rating for Champ Labs made filters. Maybe a minimum standard. 'I' don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that the current CQ closer to or same as equivalent P1. Either way, even 'if' AAP site accurate still likely significantly better than the Honda OEM, which Honda apparently thinks is ok.

Depending on price, including topic at 7.5k mi, what I've seen of this CQ application c&ps posted, I'd have no problem using one.

As an aside, nice clear pics of the CQ.(y)

Ok, different words then. They are built exactly like a Pure One, minus the media... maybe 😁
