I need to replace the radiator cap on my atv. The original is marked "0.9". I'm assuming that this is Kilograms.

The ones we stock at work are marked "1.1".

I'm math stupid

Can someone tell me in lbs the pressure difference between the 0.9 and the 1.1?

I'm assuming the 0.9 is bar. If so, then 0.9 bar = 13.05 psi. 1.1 bar = 15.95 psi. If it's kilograme, then 0.9 kg = 1.98 lb. 1.1 kg = 2.42 lb.

Kool thanks. I was concerned that If I put the 1.1 on that it may be too much for the system.

It's gotta be the 13.05 and 15.95 psi since most rad caps are 7,13,16 and 18 lbs.

I'm gunna run it. I don't think 3 psi more will hurt the hoses or rad.

The higher pressure will raise your boiling point, but it will put more pressure on the welds and hoses, heater core, etc.
