Well I broke and a/c line while doing a cam swap on my 02 trans am. Ive never serviced a/c before, but check out my plan and tell me if it is gonna work. The a/c worked fine before and I broke the line which caused me to lose allmy r134a.

-Replace the line
-Vacuum system with a harbor freight a/c vacuum
-Refill with r134a/oil (i believe my system takes 24 oz)

Will this fix my problem or do i need to do more?

OK, here's what you should consider doing:

(0) find a reputable A/C shop.
(1)replace your broken A/C line (with proper O-rings, make sure they are for R134A only) torque the fittings/lines per factory specifications.
(2)bring it in to the shop and ask for the following service:
-flush your system with A/C flush solvent
-install an A/C line filter(highly recommended, to keep dirt and #@$%! off of your precious compressor pump)
-replace the dryer and also change out the compressure pump lube oil
-deep vacuum the system for at least 1/2 hr (1hr better) to boil off all the moisture inside the system
-add refrigerant (R134A) to the precise amount.

Sorry to tell you that R134A system is a bit--ch to service and it's not something that ordinary joe can contemplate in doing it in 1 wkend's time (due to lack of knowledge and equipment).
