Just putting it out there, I wear seer sucker shirts and Wrangler Flex Stretch pants.

This is my style:
Work shirts:

Seersucker shirts, they stay cool in the summer, has those cool little bumps and resist wrinkles. BUTTON DOWN COLLAR. HAND WASH ONLY, or machine wash in a delicates bag.

Pants: I love the flex=stretch waistband on Wanglers. The size I wear has TWO loops on each side in the front, the stretch band is a winner.
Rugged pants I wear:

The leather belt I wear, I wear a 2 inch wide belt. Most jeans are designed for a 2 inch wide belt, even the original 501. Stores skimp you on belts, you never find a good wide belt in a store. I get my belts from Lehmans, custom made. Shoe color dictates belt color.
The belts I wear and love:

UNDERWEAR, now I grew up with briefs the JCpenny gold stipe ones, but education tells me, you want to keep the boys cool. So I am wearing boxer breifs these days for breathability. I prefer Haynes over FotLoom. Wider waistbands and roomier, material is not as thin.
Boxers I wear:

Socks, I am a HUGE FAN of DARN TOUGH socks made in Vermont. I favor taller socks, I got the John Henry mid, with padded soles, but I will say they are too hot for summer wear. I got a few pair that I have worn for over ten years, and they are wearing thin, but still no holes. These are socks you will love to hate. I don´t abuse the warranty, after all these socks easily last three lifetimes of cheapo wal-mart white cotton socks, as they are made from wool.

Shoes/work boots
This is what makes the occasion! I can wear this outfit to work, church, weddings, etc, and all I have to do is change shoes. Church a more dressy. Now feet are all different so I will not post links here, I got a wide toebox, and EE, and things like cowboy boots are NOT for me.
So for a man, I have several shoes:
Work shoe is a Keen ESD safe shoe, the Atlanta with a soft toe.
Work boot is a Hanwag Tatra Top GTX Backpacking Boot- plenty of ankle protection.
Dress shoe is difficult, because I have wide feet and a wide toebox. Oxfords I cannot rock!!!
I usually wear Red Wings, get the ones with just smooth leather over the toe box, then polish the hell out of it to make it shiney with a shoe brush and leather oil-wax, the jeans will hide most of the shoe anyways.

I wish we didn’t have to wear our very hot uniforms at work. Even with an air conditioned shop I still burn up. They feel just like I’m in one of my old baseball jerseys which I hate lol that’s why I only wore it if I was playing that day haha. If I could wear those shirts to work I’d order some to try. But they also don’t have my size which is XL. I don’t mind the work pants we have but I’d definitely be down for some work shirts that were light and breathable. On non work days I’m a t shirt, baseball hat, and shorts type of guy. Occasionally I’ll rock some pants but I prefer shorts. And either boots or tennis shoes. And crew socks at all times. Can’t stand no show or ankle socks.

Sounds close to my retirement formal garb!

I love seersucker for formal when hot. Throw some shorts on, short socks and comfy shoes and I'm all set for the chicks.

I even rock some merino wool shorty socks. Oh hell yeah they are soft and not itchy and when I rip them off my pinkies, the room doesn't clear

Darn Tough and REI are awesome. They're the only socks that have lasted more than a couple years without ripping. Unfortunately they suffer the same fate of others socks, one of the pairs going missing.

I wear quarter socks and no shows 360+ days a year. I have some long wool socks for when it's very cold out, the knitted in USA "Peoples Socks".

Wearing long socks sucks and I'm thinking some guys won't wear short socks because they'd feel weird in them.

The cheap And1 socks from Walmart serve me well. Black for work, grey when not at work.

I don't wear thick, heavy cargo shorts. Those run hot. I don't like them too short nor too long. I like them like this pic I grabbed online. Adidas Axis 22 9" inseam shorts.

Graphic t-shirt and blue jeans year round. Hoodie over the t-shirt when it starts getting cooler. Steel toe Carolina boots all the time since my ankle is messed up and these help support it.

Sometimes my wife dresses me up nicer when it’s “not appropriate to look like you’re going to work” whatever that means….

If I’m working from home/it’s my day off or if I’m going on a walk it’s usually just a random t-shirt, Soffe silkies, and skate shoes. No, I don’t skate, they’re just comfortable for my feet unlike most other shoes for some reason.

At work in the store I have a specific uniform and dress code sadly.

In the fall of 1965 my folks bought me a seersucker sport coat for the start of college. Haven't had any seersucker since. I am now a little past my mid seventies and its jeans and T-Shirts only. If I have to go anywhere that requires more, I don't go. I am like the T shirt my daughter made me that says, Grumpy old vet, I do what I want.

I have two Seersucker collared shirts I wear in hot weather. . The compliments I receive surprised me. One is a yellowish brown and the other a mixture of light and mediums blues. The yellowish brown one goes well with my Wrangler Tan denim shorts. Tan Skechers slip ons and no show socks. a lot like Pablo. Don't do boxers often. Things get twisted and pop out too often.

Glad we don't have a formal dress policy at work. There's actually no dress policy, other than it states something to the effect of "We feel our employees can make the determination of what is appropriate to wear to work", and that's a corporate Fortune 500 company.

I wear to work what I wear outside of work, a decent t-shirt, jeans, and Nike running shoes.

I have to wear a uniform, granted it is comfortable being tac pants and a polo, at work every day for 12 hours. When I'm not at work it is shorts and a t-shirt, I'm headed for 50 and don't give a toss about fashion. I might wear a shirt with buttons on it in the wintertime but that's about it.
