Bad news

Race driver Sean Edwards lost his life during a tuition session that he was conducting in Australia. This was shocking to me because I supplied engines to his father for some time back in the 1970's. He was also the man who stopped his race car and attempted to save Niki Lauder from his horrific crash in 1976.

I am so saddened that he has now lost his son.

I remember hearing this and thought it was so tragic. We have lost too many drivers this year.

It is sad. Just a reminder of how dangerous motorsport can be. Although it wasn't a death, Franchitti had a close call recently. Even though Franchitti ONLY broke his back, it was too close for comfort. Man that was a violent crash...
