Auto-RX question on high mileage VR6 - Do I really need two treatments?

I started my Auto-RX trial this weekend. I changed the filter and added the first dose of Auto-RX (14 oz.) to the existing engine oil (Rotella T 5w-40). I took pics of the area under the valve cover and also did a compression test. I'll post updates as the mileage passes.

If the "area under the valve cover" you mention is only seeing splash oil don't expect to see much improvement. Cleaning of the ring pack and seal revitalisation is another matter altogether. Good luck...s
I realize that there most likely will not be much of a change under the valve cover, but it's the only thing visible that I can take pics of.

UPDATE: 425 miles into the first cleaning phase and the oil on the dipstick is noticeably darker. In fact, it's a good bit darker at 4800 miles than it is at 10000 miles without the Auto-RX.
