differences generated by oils and filters are not something you will be "wow, look at that" about.. they are within 0-2% margin, most people will never notice anaything.

i notice differences at idle speed during warm up with 10w30/5w30.
not really higher or lower but in the time it takes to drop high revs @ idle to normal idle
