My grand niece's strippie Corolla dash AC control dial has fallen out of the base. I've never messed with something like this...
I would guess there is a keeper of some kind? I haven't seen this yet, so I don't know if it is actually broken or just apart.
Any guidance is appreciated!

This eBay listing shows the panel from the back. The dial just snaps in from the back.

It appears easy to pry the entire faceplate off to look at the back. As you can see from the picture, it’s held in with those yellow prongs that should just pull out. You could just use the hole to grab the faceplate and pull straight out. Then you could pop the dial back in or assess if anything is broken.

Alternatively you could reach in and pull the dial into place but seems harder to do that.

Thanks @troymcclure . I took a look today and I am pretty sure part of the plastic holding mechanism is broken. I noticed the 1st dial for air flow direction is non-operable; it just spins. I will get it apart soon.

I will likely pick up the climate panel from Ebay and plug it in. Thanks again!
