Strawdog, I'd be interested in seeing one of you guys try an A3/B4 30 grade oil in these engines. Those will have a HTHS of 3.5, which is going to be more than the enviro/fuel economy spec 30 grades. They usually start near the top of the 30 grade limits too.
We have Castrol Edge A3/B4 here which is about 12 cSt @ 100 and has a HTHS similar to some 40 grades.
