Looking at Michelin Defender 2, Yokohama Avid Ascend LX, Continental True Contact Tour, or General Altimax rt45 for new tires on my Accord. Size 225/50 r17. Less Noise, smooth ride and No winter driving (live in Louisiana).

Of those 4, which is best tires. I know Michelin has road hazard and that is a bonus.

Thanks!

My gut would be to take them in the order you listed….

I haven’t seen test reports on the last three.

My dad has some Michelin defender t+h tires that have been daily driven on since 2015. I don't think you can go wrong with Michelin.

Michelins are my choice.
I was surprised with my OEM Contis the other day on the Interstate. They were far nosier than I ever remember at 75mph
Smooth but noisy.

Every time I switch from Michelin tires, I am unsatisfied and I go back. However, I do make sure to purchase ones that are highly rated. Hard to beat the deals Costco has.
