2006 CTS V6 135k

I am looking into this as used for my daughter. The car has 135k but extremely clean and decent price. Based on timing chain issue which is mostly for 07+ should I buy or pass?
Any experience with the car unrelated to the cam chain?

Wouldn't worry about the timing chain. Hondas have it as well like my CRV. Biggest thing is changing the oil on time. Whats the price? If it is south of $6k, I wouldn't hesitate. Anything more and I'd want the chain and assembly inspected.

Lady I know from church has an '05 and it's flawless. She forgets maintenance quite a bit too.

The only problem is if it snaps I would need a new engine.
