Don't believe this even occurs anymore with modern engine controls.

Lugging simply does not happen anymore.
 
Yes, I even mention that I'm "reaching" with all of this...

I'll have to give it about 2 years of rear end dino and calculating fuel economy.

Also, I plan on really checking the dipstick level in mornings frequently to see if 0W20 consumes more from thin cold start ups.

The concepts and tribology are just in the guessing realm on my behalf... Try 0W20 in your application if it warrants it and chime in...
