    Direct injection-carbon deposits

Since many new car's are employing direct injection there seems to be a problem with carbon deposits.I've read that using a top tier fuel is a must and changing the oil at the right oil change interval will help.I also read that running the engine 'hard' will help too. What is meant by running...

    Ford 6F35 Transmission

I just looked at the 2015 Ford Escape and I was hoping to find out how the 6F35 auto transmission is holding up in all wheel drive format? The only complaint that I've read about the Escape is that there have been water leaks where the roof rails are connected. Thanks Joe

    Mazda or Subaru

I'm looking into buying a 2016 Mazda CX-5 2.5l with the tech package or a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.0L XT Touring. Both are great but I have heard that the Mazda 2.5L at 184hp is sluggish and that rust and unreliability happens a lot.I know that for 2016 a new infotainment and navigation system will...

    Long break in?

If and when I get my Subaru XT turbo I was thinking of doing a long break in.The manual states be carefull for the first 1000 miles.I was going to drive only stop and go for 3K and at either 3K or 6K get them to do the first oil change.Would stop and go driving be better for break in?Thanks Joe
