Give the ntz bypass filter a look I have one installed on my jeep Ford uses them,Wix distributes them,and are available at Parts Plus, Auto Value, All Pro, Bumper to Bumper, IAPA, NAPA and CARQUEST outlets.

I had mentioned this subject over a year ago on this forum and was sent a SAE paper on the testing & effects of bypass filtering that Ford & NTZ performed. Interesting info & read.

Up here in canada I paid $169 for the housing [atf09] and $12 for additional cartridges [c09]. For pricing on your side of the border simply cross reference the above numbers at the wix site and head to your nearest wix dealer.

Now a replacment cartridge for my set up is as easy as a trip to the auto parts store.

Chrysler & GM synchromesh go for $9(canadian) a litre up here.

I am fairly new to this board(be patient) and am learning something new every day. I have decided to install a NTZ bypass filter and have it on order. My question is I read somewere that bypass filtration will pull the moly out of motor oil and glog the filter. Is this true?(educate me please)
