IMO synthetic would be a waste with the low mileage per year. Pick your favorite HDEO and run it, the 7.3 is a very robust engine.

Go to Download.com and get Gamebooster. Free program that shuts down un-necessary programs, ect while gaming. When you are done playing it re-enables the programs. I use it on my old laptop running XP.

That's most likely the problem. Pull the vacuum line off of the modulator and see if fluid drains out or if it's wet inside the line. Used to sell tons of these back in the day...

Of course I am going to say Motorcraft as we see these all the time at the dealership. We've had problems with non-OEM filters on the diesels, especially those that come attached to their own cap. FWIW, if you run Motorcraft filters you won't have any problems, others are a dice roll. Others...
