As already mentioned the best way is to brun a few iso to disk and use the live cd option. Play wtih them a little and see what feels best to you. I settled on Xubuntu LTS version. In the end it all comes down to personal preference and what works for you.

What year and model Peterbuilt?

If you go to http://www.wixfilters.com/index.asp they have a filter look up. You can put in the year and model and find the filters you need. Good Luck.

My vote is for the 512 also, its not that much more and it will be well worth the extra money.
